John Firestone is a partner in the commercial and corporate practice group and handles a varied corporate practice with a concentration in the areas of entertainment, media and marketing. He represents companies and individuals involved in television production and distribution, media, marketing, public relations, entertainment, writing and publishing, merchandising, licensing and the Internet. On behalf of these and other clients, he structures and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, distribution and license agreements, joint ventures; employment and compensation agreements, financing agreements, investments, and other agreements and transactions. He also represents a leading venture capital investor group as well as clients involved in import, distribution, and travel-related enterprises.
Mr. Firestone is a graduate of Cornell University (A.B., 1980) and Yale Law School (J.D., 1985).
